About this trek

Bagini is for trekkers who want the high, empty side of the Nanda Devi sanctuary. From Jumma on the Malari road the trail climbs to Dronagiri, one of the highest villages in Chamoli, then follows the Bagini nala past Longatulli to the glacier snout and the moraine camp at Bagini base. Changabang, Dronagiri, Kalanka and Rishi Pahar stand over the camp. Long days on rough ground; previous high-altitude trekking is expected.
